It’s that time of year when we all take a moment to count our blessings and give thanks for all that is right in our lives.
Futiva is no different in that tradition. Our efforts to reach out to folks here in southern Illinois carries on into the holiday season. Most recently we helped make Thanksgiving a little happier for a woman in our community.
Kim Burton recently entered and won a contest on our Facebook page for a $40 gift card to Kroger to help pay for Thanksgiving dinner. As you can imagine, Kim was a bit overwhelmed when she learned she’d won. When our business development manager Alisha Shipp presented Kim with the card there were unmistakable tears of joy.
Kim says receiving the gift card was a true blessing. But we here at Futiva are blessed too. It’s been a great year and we are appreciative of all of our customers and members of the community who have been a part of our success. There has been an overwhelming amount of interest and comments on our social media pages and at the events, we’ve been a part of this year. We look forward to continuing spreading holiday cheer as well as providing more services around Southern Illinois.
